Tape and Glue.

There comes a time, after all the heart-breaks, the tears, the drama, the bitching, the sadness and the confusion, when all of it slowly starts to fade.
You start to wonder why it all mattered so much, why those people mattered so much.
Why all you cared about, was their happiness, above yours.
Why every little thing they said made you cry.
Why you always felt low.
Why you were so fragile.
Why you weren't passionate about doing things in your life.
You feel like you're together only because of tape and glue. One little move, and you're gonna break down.

But then, you go beyond.
You finally realize, that it wasn't worth it.
Losing your happiness to someone who just wanted to change you, or possess you. Not worth it.
You realize that it has to stop, the thinking.

You finally let go.
Let go of the people who don't make you happy.
The people who want to change you.
The letters.
The messages.
The sad thoughts.
The tears.
It's all gone.

You finally feel free. Emotionally and mentally, free.
You get back to being you. The real you. The happy you.
You don't care if people hate you anymore. Because loving yourself is what matters most, right?

And then, you don't need the tape and glue to keep yourself together anymore.

Second-Hand Somethings

So this is about a cute little bookstore on Church Street in Bangalore called Blossom Book House.
It's pretty easy to locate.

So the specialty of this place, is that it gives you a feel of a cozy library where you can spend hours and hours without anyone disturbing you.
It has a collection of all genres of books. New and second-hand.
The other good thing is that you can give away all your old books (childhood books, or stuff that you're done reading.) and take away new ones. They also give you a voucher for redeeming later if you're not able to buy  many books at one go. Plus the second-hand books are much cheaper!

An amazing thing about second-hand books is that, there's already a feeling attached to them. Something strange, something nice.
Some book would've been a birthday gift.
Some book would've been a friend to someone in need.
Some book would've been read with happy thoughts in mind, some by a depressed soul.
When you read such books, there's a kind of connect that you feel, with the previous owner of the book.

I once found a Harry Potter book which was gifted by a dad to his beloved daughter, on her eleventh birthday with a short message on the first page.
There was another book, which had notes written all throughout about the story. I think it was the interpretation of the reader, about the book.

The bookstore, just takes you to a world of your own.
I haven't tried their online shopping, cuz the store is so much better! :)
So if you love reading, check this place out!

Dream.

Dream.
What is a dream?
I have always believed that there are many meanings of this word.
If you ask wikipedia, you get-- A dream is a succession of thoughts, images, sounds or emotions which the mind experiences during sleep.
According to me, Dream is a much deeper form of this definition. A dream is a completely different world. So beautiful. So angelic. Anyone would wish to stay in that wonderful world forever. Our only escape from the troubles in our life, are dreams. Everything we want, everything we wish to see, happens in this amazing form of partial unconsciousness. We usually can't predict what form our dream is going to perceive. It could be related to stuff that happened during the day, childhood memories, and maybe stuff that you haven't even heard of or experienced before. Dreams give you wings to fly. They show you beauty, beauty which you wouldn't have seen on earth. Everything is just so perfect. I have always wondered why dreams are so mystical. You don't always have to sleep to see dreams. I am usually taken into the other world when I'm sitting in a place where I can see the trees swaying and maybe birds chirping, when life seems beautiful and you feel useful. I feel like I have come to this beautiful place with a purpose. A purpose which only I can understand. The magic can only be completed when I think of ways of accomplishing that purpose. A divine place to be can also be beside a river or maybe on a beach. The marvelous dreams will come to you automatically. You'll feel like you have been enlightened. You might even feel like flying--like nothing can go wrong now.
